    Can't Activate Windows 7 0xc004e003

Hi, recently my laptop was getting very slow (Toshiba Satellite L735-12V). So I decided to go for a clean install of windows 7. Foolishly years ago I had deleted the partition with my back up files. I downloaded the iso from Microsoft for Windows Home Premium and flashed it from a USB drive. Everything went well except for the fact that I cannot activate windows. The key I have is genuine. It was written on the bottom of my laptop, sticker is fading now and I had it saved in a file on my laptop also. Can anyone help me?

    Darren

The installed Product Key is an OEM_SLP Key - which is only valid when used with the manufacturer's Recovery media.
The Key on the COA sticker is the one you need to be able to activate, when using retail media such as the downloads.
Try using a flashlight and magnifier to read the sticker Key - or take photos under varying light conditions, and see if they help.

If that fails, then you'll have to contact Toshiba and order a set of recovery media for your machine, and use that to reformat/reinstall.
