Good - That fixed the error there.
What happens if you do a new Check for Updates and attempt to install the oldest update found?
Hi, I just tried installing them again and I get the same Error Code: 80070490

This appears to be the critical error that's blocking things...
    Code:
    2014-12-21 22:25:28, Error CBS Failed to resolve package 'Package_54_for_KB2982378~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.0' [HRESULT = 0x80070490 - ERROR_NOT_FOUND]
    2014-12-21 22:25:28, Info CBS Failed to resolve package [HRESULT = 0x80070490 - ERROR_NOT_FOUND]
    2014-12-21 22:25:28, Info CBS Failed to get next package to re-evaluate [HRESULT = 0x80070490 - ERROR_NOT_FOUND]
2014-12-21 22:25:28, Info CBS Failed to process component watch list. [HRESULT = 0x80070490 - ERROR_NOT_FOUND]

I need to have a look at your COMPONENTS registry hive

Please copy the C:\Windows\System32\config\COMPONENTS file (no extension) to your desktop and then compress it - upload the compressed file to your favoured fileshare site (preferably Dropbox or OneDrive) and post a link.

The necessary data appears to be there, at least.

Please open an Elevated Command Prompt, and run the following command...

    Code:

    REG QUERY "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Component Based Servicing\Packages\Package_54_for_KB2982378~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.0" /S

    .

Here are some instructions to make life easier :)
    1) To open an Elevated Command Prompt Window (the ECP window), click on Start, All Programs, Accessories – then right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator. Accept the UAC prompt.
    2) To run the commands easier, highlight the block of commands, and right-click on the highlight – select Copy. In the CP Window, click on the black/white icon at top left – select Paste. The commands will run but may not complete the last command, so hit the Enter Key once.
    3) To copy the results... click on the Black/White icon in the top left, and select Edit... 'Select All', and hit the Enter key - then use Ctrl+V or r-click+Paste to paste it into your response.
    post the results.

Should I just reinstall Windows? Is this an easy fix or do I go the Recovery mode? Not a huge deal, but a nuisance when I shutdown my laptop and it tries to install the 4 updates and fails every time. Thus becoming time consuming by going full shutdown mode..
