It's the first time I've seen those errors - and I can't help wondering if some form of registry or system 'optimiser' is involved - do you have any such installed?

Yes, i have Iolo System Mechanic, but it served me well until i decided to mess up with ms office do not recall version but one of the leatest, when i decided to uninstall that crap - all problems started. Oldest offices do not such things, only newest. So i will stick to open office - it do not mess up with validations and such things.

I'm not a fan of any such tools - but this one appears to be one of the less-dubious ones.

Having said that, I would still recommend removing it.

Moved to Iolo SM from norton utilyties, see no difference but price, and imho norton after year or more caused system crash, SM help restore system and keep it healthy. But this is only my opinion, i am old windows user started with windows 3 :) what else can i say here.
