Cannot run Windows Update and Receiving Non-Genuine Message

The Error codes there look like a failure in either the BITS or Event Log services - at least at the start of the latest run.

Please open an Elevated Command Prompt, and run the following commands:

SC QC BITS
SC QUERYEX BITS
SC QC EVENTLOG
SC QUERYEX EVENTLOG

The BITS service is set incorrectly - it should be on Auto(delayed)

Please open an Elevated Command Prompt, and run the following command

SC CONFIG BITS start= delayed-auto

Reboot, wait 10 minutes, then post the new windowsupdate.log file

Try installing from the standalone update - Download Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB3023266) from Official Microsoft Download Center
