problem is activating windows, error code 0xC004F063

I am having issue in activating windows, cmd is not working at all. when I was activating through product key, error 0xC004F063 showed up. there was windows vista initially in this laptop, but now its windows 7 ultimate... I really want someone to help me.. plus when I play videos in real player or vlc media player, the video lags and im just unable to watch it. though I can see videos online. Other thing I was thinking about is to install windows all over again, but I am kind of afraid because the error code I have mentioned above is something related to bios. please some one help.

    The installation is counterfeit.
You have an OEM_SLP Product Key from an ACER machine on a DELL computer - which can never legally work anyhow - built almost two years before windows 7 was released.
You need to reformat and reinstall using genuine media and Key.

You need to install the version and edition of Windows for which the computer is licensed, according to the COA sticker on the case.
(probably Vista Home Premium, or Home Basic)

Assuming it's Vista - the download is a little more complex than for Windows 7, so I suggest that you post in this thread for a link to a 'good'ISO option. Vista ISO download

what you saw was an advert. All such tools are likely to make things worse rather than fix them
