This is shown on the COA sticker:
    Windows 7 Home Prem OA
    Lenovo
    <bar code> 045667-001541
Just tried powering it back on again now and got a blue screen STOP c000021a {fatal system error} the verification of a known dll failed.

As it wouldn't boot, rightly or wrongly I let it boot into startup repair and chose to restore to the most recent restore point. A message said that the restore completed successfully and the PC restarted ok.

Now it's running again I'll post the MGADiag results.

I had tried the link you posted, but I got an error (page not found) each time I tried it.

I then searched for MGADiag download on the Microsoft UK site and found a link to a page called "Submit a genuine Windows technical support request". On that page in step 1 is a link to the MGA tool which is what I clicked to get the version I used.

Sorry if it's too old. I'll try again tomorrow using your original link again.

That looks more like it - but it actually shows as being perfectly normal

It's too late for me to do any more tonight - I'll try for an early review in the morning.

Hi Noel, do you think we're at the point where a repair install is the best option now?

    Oops - sorry!
Yes, I'm leaning towards a repair now, since it seems that the errors are not responding to any of the normal troubleshooting tactics.

    See here for instructions.
