Updates installed - no MS Office

I don't have MS Office. I got the following 8 updates (7 updates + MRT)

All okay so far. I've got a system image backup available if any problems develop.

Looks like the visual studio update is back in the list. I took a leap of faith and it installed fine this time so I guess they re offered it after fixing it. Pretty poor show though, they didn't bother testing as I googled the issue and there were major widespread reports!

The original Visual Studio update that gave a lot of problems was said to be related to Visual Studio 2010 and was KB3001652. The one I'm being offered is said to be related to Visual Studio 2012 and is KB3032622. I'm not clear whether this is a fixed re-issue of the original one or a wholly different one.

It's a shame that we don't get any advance notification about the updates anymore. Currently away from my home machine. Have today's patch tuesday updates been released yet? Any issues or do they appear to be safe?
I installed 22 updates today. All went OK, no problems.

it was on my list so I figured it was the updated one, but it also gave me problems on 3 windows 7 pro after a reboot, one windows 7 pro even after I uninstalled it and rebooted the main screen was locked up so I finally got in and did a system restore which finally fixed it.
this is now hidden on all my other windows 7 pro machines, I am not doing anything until I really see a fix for it. I do not use it anyway.
