    New Install KB285361 won't install


    I'm doing a clean install of Windows 7 full version, on a wiped hard drive. Yesterday the updates got stuck at 153 or 192. I faffed about a bit with restore points and then decided to start from scratch again, reformatted and re-installed. Unticked IE11 update which I've had problens with before. It got stuck at 168 of 191 this time. Managed to switch off and restart and then do the updates 2 or 3 at a time. The problem seems to be these two updates which won't download or install - they just get stuck. Do I need these two updates?!!! All other updates are now done. I have hidden IE11 and am just left with the two that wont download.

    Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data

    If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)

    Please also post the C:\Windows\windowsudpate.log file
