New Updates

Today, I noticed I had an update for my Windows 7 Laptops and 8.1 Desktop. Also, Skype 7.0 showed in the update center today as well for the Laptops. Did anyone else get these updates? What was the important update for? I didn't look to see what it was for.

I just installed Skype anyway. My girlfriend lives in a different state than me, and she likes to Skype sometimes. Although, I would much rather chat on Facebook or text.

MSE updates flagged in Win 7 updates but not XP Mode updates
I find it odd that when I do a Windows Update in Windows 7, the Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) updates are also found. But if I do a Windows Update in XP Mode, the MSE updates are not found. I don't suppose this is controllable? I'd like the Windows Update to find MSE updates.
