    Windows 7 Ultimatex64: Error 0xC004F200

EDIT: Thread title should be regarding Error 0xC004F200

    Hello,

On this Acer laptop that I received from a relative (It appears to be from 2009), I have had no issues so far. But earlier last week, after logging on, I was prompted by Error 0xC004200, for build 7601, stating my copy of Windows is not genuine.

I have the Product key and ID, but I don't have any sort of original disc (I presume the OS was installed onto this laptop).

Any help and advice on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Bad news you have the very famous Lenovo stolen code (YG69F-9M66D-PMJBM) with a H.P. computer slick installed on a Acer computer.

It will never activate. It a counterfeit installation.

You need to do a clean install with the proper Windows 7 and the proper COA activation key.
