    Win 7 Home Prem. 64 bit, Code 800B0100, Update KB2943357 & KB2973112

Had to use recovery disks for laptop that crashed. Was able to reinstall all software, files, folders and updates except for the two Security Updates for Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5.1(KB2943357) and (KB2973112). The error code I'm getting is 800B0100. Have already tried troubleshooting, doing a clean reboot, running the scannow command, downloaded the system readiness tool and just about everything else I've read about. I'm sure this is much easier than I'm making it, but I'm at a loss. Was wondering if anyone could possibly help?

I've tried to attach part of the CBS log (but having difficulty because even zippped it's very lengthy) and SUR. It appears to me that there were originally 12 errors, now down to 2 (if I'm reading this correctly).

Anyway, would certainly appreciate any help that could help me resolve this mess!

CheckSUR shows the following problems -
    Code:
    Unavailable repair files:
     servicing\packages\Package_100_for_KB2943357~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.3.mum

     servicing\packages\Package_100_for_KB2943357~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.3.cat
     servicing\packages\Package_100_for_KB2943357~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.3.cat
I'll post a fix when I can clear my backlog.

    I've uploaded a file - ocaaa.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
    Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder ocaaa in the same place.
Open this folder - there should be one folders inside it (Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to the folder
    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

    Noel,

Followed your directions and it's worked like a charm (although, just as you said, it took awhile)! I've attached the new CheckSUR.log & CheckSurPersist.log. When I saw the difference in the logs I had to try the installation again and voila, it was a success. Both updates installed seamlessly.

Thank you so much for all your time & sharing your knowledge with the rest of us.
