sfc is unable to fix system corrupt files
Hi!
I am running windows 7 64-bit on a core 2 duo processor desktop PC. The problem is that my windows update has started creating problems for me with duplicate error messages that ranges from error code 8020053 to 8020002E to 80200071, every time there is a new message.
My main concern was actually to download updates smoothly, specially service pack 1 after a clean installation, which I did just a week ago. But my windows was reluctant to get these updates easily and every time pops up a new error code as I mentioned above.
Well, finally I sorted out the problem by downloading and installing the service pack alternatively via online link from Microsoft and after that I run windows update diagnostic tool which also showed that it has fixed my windows update problems as well.
After that, I actually didn't tried updating windows this time but instead since my windows was becoming heavy at times and opens applications not as smoothly as windows do in the start, so I went into the command prompt as admin and first ran this command; sfc /scannow=C:\windows and windows told me this: "Windows resource protection could not perform the requested operation" so I went for normal sfc /scannow in which it checked the integrity of files 100% and returns with this message:
"Windows resource protection have found corrupt files but is unable to fix some of them"
Now I have to refer to cbs.logs but I really could not make out of it since I don't know what the technical language means written in it? So, I am attaching the cbs log here and would be very thankful if you can provide me a solution by using which I can resolve the corrupt files and make my windows clear of any errors. Help will be very appreciate if suggested without the advise of re-installation because I have did that a week ago for the same purpose. Thank you!
DAK!
