I have went back and read your other threads and they are confusing.

The post above is also confusing.

In the past you have had a problem with being genuine Windows 7.

Lets start with square (A) and complete this tutorial by Brink and post the log here.

An Anytime Upgrade requires that the initial install is fully activated and validated. You must also have the correct Upgrade for the installed OS (e.g. you cannot use a Home Premium to Pro upgrade to upgrade Home Basic).

    What Upgrade do you have?

As Layback Bear suggests, please post your MGADiag report.

I agree I am very confusing.. If we just deal with this maybe easier.. I purchased a windows upgrade key to upgrade about ayear ago.. So after installing windows.. I went to start clicked on the orb..Clicked all programs then the icon for windows anytime update.. Went threw the verifacation process.. It was good so started to update The update did its normal thing checked online for updates said 135 i beleive.. About a half hour into process got a box that said there was an error I needed to restart windows.. When I did the screens were saying do not turn off computer configuring windows..Then again said there was anerror could not retreve updates so mit was going to undo changes.. It shutdown restarted and icon in start menu gone.. Tryed typing anytime upade in search no results.. So i started googleing ran across a post on your site.. Folled instructions on how to use gpedit got mto the screen that said windows anytime update disabled.. So per post disabled that hit apply ok restarted windows still not there so went back and settings were the same as I set..Hopefully not too much information.. I do realize I am hard to understand I guess It has something to do with being an old guy.. I apologize for my lack of knowledge and the use of the english language....Any help would be much apprecited..Again Thank-you

Please just post the log I requested by using the tutorial I posted in My Post # 2.

You will not to be able to UPGRADE Windows if their is a problem and that log might help us with.

All the chit chat means nothing until we can see that log.

Noel and I are not spring chickens either. Our ages mean nothing when it comes to helping you with your problem.
    We need the log.

Now we wait for Noel to take a look at the log.

What I see is you have not activate Windows 7 SP-1 Ultimate and you have some File Mismatch problems.
Noel is the one to help with this. He is always busy so just hang in there.

All I see is the first couple of sections of the report - without the rest, it's useless.
All it tells me is that Windows 7 Ultimate is already installed - and there is no Anytime Upgrade to that.

shovelhead54 could you post that log again.

I'm seeing a triple code box. One code box inside a code box inside a code box.

Another way of saying is, a code box covering up a code box covering up a code box.

Does this help Noel. This is what I see.
