Recently started to get a Windows Not Genuine msg repeatedly.

I am new here so hope I have done this right. I tried to follow your instructions properly so apologies if I have done something wrong.

This problem started about 10 days ago. I have been trying to work out what may have caused it as I haven't done a reboot from scratch. The only 2 things that I have done differently to normal are: 1) I bought the home edition of Spybot SD after using the original Free version for years. 2) I recently downloaded the free version of the VPN blocker Tunnelbear and opened it for the first time.

Apart from these 2 things I cannot think of anything else that may have caused this issue but it is driving me nuts and I am worried that if I don't find the cause and fix it soon it may take the issue a step further and cause a bigger problem than I currently have.

Thank you for any help you can give me. :)

The worst case scenario is what happened to me with my Windows [that happened to you as described above]:
Even after Microsoft tried a huge download [ISO], a "dirty" install, it still would not fix NonAuthentication.
Finally, I was forced to reinstall from scratch because my image backup was of the NonAuthentication.
It is possible that far wiser techs than I can help you fix this. There are Windows ReAuthentification tools out on Microsoft's web sites somewhere that just might do the quick-fix for ya!

Hi vanillarose, welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

It would be best for NoelDP to have a look at this as he is the expert on these things. So be patient & he will probably get around to you soon.

To confirm that the problem is what I think it is, please run the following commands in an Elevated Command Prompt window and post the results.

    REG QUERY HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\Wow6432Node\TypeLib\{EE574957-4077-4AD6-8658-327C2C86C5AA} /S

    REG QUERY HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\TypeLib\{EE574957-4077-4AD6-8658-327C2C86C5AA} /S
    REG QUERY HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Classes\TypeLib\{EE574957-4077-4AD6-8658-327C2C86C5AA} /S

Here are some instructions to make life easier :)
    1) To open an Elevated Command Prompt Window (the ECP window), click on Start, All Programs, Accessories – then right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator. Accept the UAC prompt.
    2) To run the commands easier, highlight the block of commands, and right-click on the highlight – select Copy. In the CP Window, click on the black/white icon at top left – select Paste. The commands will run but may not complete the last command, so hit the Enter Key once.
    3) To copy the results... click on the Black/White icon in the top left, and select Edit... 'Select All', and hit the Enter key - then use Ctrl+V or r-click+Paste to paste it into your response.

That's fine - exactly what I needed, and confirms my diagnosis...

    I've uploaded a file - sluicom64.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
Please download and save it to your desktop.
Right-click on the saved file and select Extract all...
Save it to the default location
This should create a file sluicom64.reg

right-click on the file, and select Merge
Accept the warnings, - you should then get a 'Success' message.
    Close all windows, and reboot.

Run another MGADiag report, and post the results.
