How to remove Windows 10 upgrade updates in Windows 7 and 8

They were never intended as a "fix all" for everyone, just a collated reference for anyone wanting an updated list with some extra info/links thrown in. But I can't fix Microsoft's BS, I don't have that expertise.

Who knows what MS will do in the future though, they're trying everything they can to get people to install Windows 10. Unfortunately, they can't take "NO" for an answer!

You're welcome, man. And yeah, had the distinct impression that your list was for the benefit of the more tech savy among us.

I don't think they can afford to take "NO" for answer... MS seems "desperate" to get people to upgrade totheir new "ad-delivery" OS. I for one can't wait to see ads delivered right on my start screen... and based upon MS noting every webpage I visit and everything I click.... NOT

Also, I think they're desperate to prevent Windows 7 from becoming the new XP... the OS that just wouldn't die. And I find the "enforced" updates in W10 to be a bit much to swallow.

I was saying, the updates you DEFINITELY NEVER want, you can only hide not delete or uninstall.

You can only uninstall ( delete) updates that are already installed.

So if you have, as an example, that famous KB 3035583 hidden, or waiting in your " ready to update list, you have to live with it or hope it disappears. At one moment, I had 6 of them now only 2, wait ... I just looked, there is only 1 left now

I personally don't show either being installed although I believe I hid ....8066 long ago and it's not on the list anymore.

Because you were the most opposing vocalist against or questioning his list.
I personally hid both because I have home premium but that didn't stop M$ from sending out useless updates to add GPO to me.

I didn't see you questioning AddRam's list he has some pretty wild updates on it
They're all just personal list so relax.
