Yea I have about 15 not hidden and that is one of them
I don't bother hiding the 10 stuff because they do return when M$ updates them

Exception being if they return or show up as Important then I have little choice but to hide the blasted items

    Very confusing

    Hello :),

I did not get this KB 3035583 offered today, it's still in my hidden list. There 3 went missing, I have to find out which ones they where by checking my old list.

Today I have finnally hidden KB 3112343 and KB 3112148.

I have a hole list of Security updates waiting, but I am really getting my nickers in a twist with all this going on

Her's my list :How to remove Windows 10 upgrade updates in Windows 7 and 8-updates-waiting-installed-16-dec-2015-untitled.jpg

Should I update all these Security updates, is it really safe ?

KB3035583 did finally show up again on my system. However, mine was listed in the optional settings. So, I hide it again. No, other update was listed.

Same here... KB3035583 has kept reappearing since its initial release in June... I rehid it in Aug, Sept, Oct, and Dec

Yes... all of those Security updates are not only safe... but needed.

But there's one exception: KB3109094 (kernel driver security update) That one's on my "Wait & See" list

(I routinely check the articles about MS updates by InfoWorld's Woody Leronard and WindowsSecret's Patricia Bradley to see if there are any problems with the new crop of updates.)

Personally, I've hidden all the non-security updates in your list.

BTW, KB3102810 is Nov's Windows Update Client "improvements" patch (fix for KB3050265: "8007000E" error message.)

My list of the WUC updates (all have been hidden)

    • KB2990214 – Apr ’15 - WUC “improvements”: enables ability to upgrade to Win10
    • KB3050265 – Jun ‘15 - WUC “improvements”: allows Policy to block upgrade to Win10
    • KB3065987 – Jul ‘15 - WUC “improvements” (gpedit: block upgrade) replaces KB2990214 & KB3050265
    • KB3075851 – Aug ‘15 - WUC “improvements”: fixes mess due to KB3065987 (cuts down on WUC memory usage, but hides Update notifications if GWX app is active)
    • KB3083324 – Sep ‘15 - WUC “improvements” (suspicious: no description from MS)
    • KB3083710 – Oct ‘15 - WUC “improvements” (suspicious: no description from MS)
    • KB3102810 – Nov ‘15 - WUC “improvements” (MS: fix slow updates & high CPU usage)
    • KB3112343 – Dec ‘15 - WUC “improvements” (fix for KB3050265: "8007000E" error message.)
