    Hi guys,

    Just received today through Windows Update this Kb article:

    -Article ID: 3022345 - Last Review: May 5, 2015 - Revision: 3.0
    Update to enable the Diagnostics Tracking Service in Windows.

    Summary:
    This update enables the Diagnostics Tracking Service in Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1), and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. This tracking service collects data about functional issues in Windows.

    This update is available from Windows Update for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2.
    (There is no prerequisite for Windows 7 SP1 or Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.)

    It's 27,7Mb in WU, I haven't installed yet on my machine as i didn't saw any files history and waiting that to be displayed.

    I just got the notice today also. I'm not really sure what it is tracing so I hide it.

    This update might collect datas in the Event Viewer, tracking and recording the hardware errors and System errors. Microsoft already collects data when crash does happen and drivers with WU if we allow it to do so. This one looks automated to me. Did hide this one too.

    With three versions in a row bombing, I suspect MS is trying to shore-up Windows 7 until W11/12. :)

    I'm leaving the update in limbo (not hidden, not installed) until more detail is learned.

    Added: This is already in W10-IP and appears to be causing high CPU usage. Some as high as 50% but generally in the 10-30% range.
