    Can't install IE10/11 from IE 9 - Error code 9C47

    Hi all,

    Been driving me crazy, I'm unable to install/update from IE 9 to IE 10 or IE 11. Can someone please help me?

    I've downloaded and run SURT a number of times and restarted

    Ran SFC Scan

    Getting Error code 9C47 in Windows Update screen

    Attached is the CBS log zip file.

    From your CheckSUR log...
    Code:

    You need to uninstall KB2731847 - but it's not all that easy!

    Thanks for that. I followed those instructions, but now having a different issue.

    The IE 11 update appears, and installs WITHOUT an error message, and yet it never installs!

    In fact there's TWO updates which stay in the windows update screen, always say they successfully install, but keep coming back.
    1 - IE 11 for Win 7 x64 based systems
    2 - Security Update for Win 7 - KB3046269

    I've rerun surt etc. Attached are the latest log files...

    Still driving me nuts. Any suggestions?

    I can't see that you've run SFC in the past week?
    Please run another SFC /SCANNOW, and post the new log file
    The CheckSUR report shows clear now.

    The only errors in the past few days in the CBS data have been ones similar to this...

    Which are usually not harmful.

    Please post your C:\Windows\windowsupdate.log file.

    Thanks. Ran SFC again, and did not find any integrity violations.
