    Windows 7 won't activate

Each time I try to activate windows I get a don't have permissions error for slui.exe. Checked up in permissions and all seems fine. MGA diagnostic report below for those who specialize in this area of error detection. Your help will be greatly received.
    regards:)

To confirm that the problem is what I think it is, please run the following commands in an Elevated Command Prompt window and post the results.

    REG QUERY HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\Wow6432Node\TypeLib\{EE574957-4077-4AD6-8658-327C2C86C5AA} /S

    REG QUERY HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\TypeLib\{EE574957-4077-4AD6-8658-327C2C86C5AA} /S
    REG QUERY HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Classes\TypeLib\{EE574957-4077-4AD6-8658-327C2C86C5AA} /S

Here are some instructions to make life easier :)
    1) To open an Elevated Command Prompt Window (the ECP window), click on Start, All Programs, Accessories – then right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator. Accept the UAC prompt.
    2) To run the commands easier, highlight the block of commands, and right-click on the highlight – select Copy. In the CP Window, click on the black/white icon at top left – select Paste. The commands will run but may not complete the last command, so hit the Enter Key once.
    3) To copy the results... click on the Black/White icon in the top left, and select Edit... 'Select All', and hit the Enter key - then use Ctrl+V or r-click+Paste to paste it into your response.

I decided to go a different route and used slmgr /ipk. Windows now shows as genuine but after a reboot I get the dreaded 0x8004fe22 error asking me to validate online claiming I'm running a non genuine copy of Windows which I'm not. Despite this error Windows is still showing up as genuine in properties of computer.
The original issue of slui not functioning due to alleged permission issues remains

    regards

Please post a new MGADiag report - the earlier responses to the CMD commands were a little unexpected.

Well oddly I managed to get Windows registered and all seems fine for now after another reboot I'm not being bothered by the 0x8004fe22 error at present so I'll monitor it for now. Slui issue is not fixed though so a fault with the validation process for some reason or another still persists which would be nice to fix.
Anyway here is the MGA diagnostic as requested.

The installed Key is now an MSDN Key - rather than the earlier MAK Key.
This would explain why something has changed

From where did you get this Key? It's valid ONLY for the holder of the subscription with which it came - and cannot be sold separately, legally.

I purchased this key the other day from windows7productkey dot com but even so in hindsight it still doesn't explain the slui permissions issue.

it explains it completely - the Key is counterfeit, and stolen.

Well that just isn't cricket hey! I'll get back on to the site and try to get a refund, failing which I'll sort it out with Paypal. Can't believe I fell for this one and I feel pretty daft.
So with this new info in mind, are you saying that companies/individuals cannot buy a batch of keys and legally sell them on?
To do the right thing I guess I should alert Microsoft accordingly. Not sure how something can be counterfeit and stolen. What would be the point of stealing something that is fake in the first place?
