Windows 7 Home Premium Deactivation Question

    Hi guys,

I bought a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium LCP for OEM Software from Amazon for use with Bootcamp on my Mac. I only used it a few times and then uninstalled it.

Someone in work wants to run it on their Mac at home (different model than mine) and I said I would give him my disk. Thing is I'm not sure if he will have any problems with activation. Would any of you guys know if it will be OK?

OEK software licenses are locked to the first computer on which they are installed and activated - and cannot be moved to another computer under any circumstances.
If you activated your install then it will be locked to your computer.
There is no such thing as 'de-activating' a Windows license, either Retail or OEM.
