    There's nothing security-related in the COMPONENTS hive - it's purely a database of the CBS components installed.

    I'll see if I can think up some specific data I need, and get back to you.

When checking for windows updates I get a notice that windows update must be updated. It tries to load update agent 7.6.7600.256 which fails and retries fails also. I can download some Win updates and apply manually and they did work. I tried running the Microsoft Fix It program and it didn't help....
