    I completed the steps as you posted, CheckSUR.log is as follows:
    =================================
    Checking System Update Readiness.
    Binary Version 6.1.7601.22471
    Package Version 26.0
    2015-06-19 16:23

    Checking Windows Servicing Packages

    Checking Package Manifests and Catalogs

    Checking Package Watchlist

    Checking Component Watchlist

    Checking Packages

    Checking Component Store

    Summary:

    OK - I need to see the new CBS.log file so I can try and isolate the exact error. Please also post the C:\Windows\windowsupdate.log file

    OK - since the problem appears to relate to the download phase of an install (even if it's not downloading things, that phase must be gone through anyhow) try a reset of Windows Update...
    Windows Update - Reset - go straight to the full reset at option 3

    Still no luck :/
    I followed option three, including running the fix it tool and steps outlined in the link at the bottom in point 7. (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2509997/en-us) which didn't work also

    That WU log appears to be 12 days old? - the last entry is for 20/6/15.

    please reboot and post a new one.
