    Updates keep failing. Error 80070308.

My Windows Seven Professional is original. SP1.
It's been three months since my Windows Update stopped working. All updates fail with the same error: 80070308.
I already tried all the fix and troubleshout programs, all some lines for the command prompt.
I updated my drives using Slimdrivers and Iobit softwares, but I still have tons of windows, security, IE, and framework updates.
The SFC Scan says nothing and the SURT only updated the Hotifx (KB947821).
I searched the forum and found other threads with the same problem.
If it is of any help, I used the following commands:

    REG LOAD HKLM\COMPONENTS C:\Windows\System32\config\COMPONENTS
    REG QUERY HKLM\COMPONENTS

    And these are the results:

    C:\Windows\system32>REG LOAD HKLM\COMPONENTS C:\Windows\System32\config\COMPONEN

A operação foi concluída com êxito.

The CBS.log shows the following error sequence...
    Code:

    try this...
Open an Elevated Command Prompt, and run the following commands

    REG LOAD HKLM\COMPONENTS C:\Windows\System32\config\COMPONENTS
    REG DELETE HKLM\COMPONENTS /V PendingRequired

then reboot, and try Windows Update again.

    Success... almost.

I had 158 updates, and now most of them have been installed.
I do not understand why some still do not work, but still, thank you!

Please post the C:\Windows\windowsupdate.log file - it should give us something to work with.
