    I see date created:

June 2015 microcode update for Intel processors in Windows-mcupdate_authenticamd-dll.jpg

So WinSXS version is from 2009 but the System32 version is from 2013

    Here's mine
You're more up to date and might have received a Microsoft update that haven't been displayed for me in Windows Update. Well...seems trivial (from MS) to me. Too much hotfixes and updates around that superseded to each others. I wouldn't be surprised to received one for AMD files.

Well I don't think that I'll worry about it now. I know that I have 6 months worth of system image backups!

    @ NON

Yes I saw that warning thanks. I'm searching for other files that were created on the same day around the same time and the only thing that I came up with so far is a Realtek Audio Driver update.

    I found that:

    Article ID: 2818604 - Last Review: June 11, 2013 - Revision: 6.0
A microcode update is available for Windows 7-based and Windows 8-based computers that use AMD processors

Could be the file you already own...

Well it's not showing in the list of installed updates (view installed updates) but it is installed. Also Belarc Advisor shows update 2818604 installed on 24/8/2014
