    Windows Update KB2972211 error 80073712

    Hello,

Having a single issue with Windows Update. I have never had an issue with Windows 7 updating until this KB, i have even updated other items that show up but this just doesn't stick.

I am trying to update Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 for x64-based Systems (KB2972211)

    When I update I receive:

The only optional update i have listed is for my builtin video card and it doesn't work either(no big deal).

When I run the SFC Scan I receive:

I would love to upload my CBS folder but it says it is too large to upload even after zipping.(any tips appreciated).

    Thanks in advance,
    ~Fan

Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data

If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)

Please also post the C:\Windows\windowsudpate.log file

Alright, going to have to give up. I compressed every little file inside my CBS folder and they still won't upload together or separately.

The found errors are relatively minor - but need fixing anyhow
    Please run
    CHKDSK C: /R

it will take a fair while depending on disk size - post the results.
