Copy of Windows not genuine, Build 7601

    Dear Sir/Madame,
I have been reading through the posts and I believe some of the responses to this problem may be able to assist me with my issue. I was having blue screen problems (actually they are still happening) with my computer that I have owned for a couple 2-3 years now. I did not know what was causing this problem as it initially began very infrequently. The computer would flash a blue screen and then say it is dumping data, etc. -- eventually the computer would restart with no problem. I may have seen this 3- 4 times about a year ago but about 2 months ago it began happening all the time. So I decided to do a complete factory reset and that appeared to fix the problem or so I thought. Well the computer crashed again and then increased like before to where it happened every time a webpage hung up. I then contacted a company to service my computer online -- for now I will not mention the company but they use teamviewer to diagnose and repair computers. They worked on my computer for several hours and contacted me to tell me it was fixed -- that I had some corrupted drivers from a virus. They assured me it was fixed but within a couple of hours while I was running a Webroot scan the computer crashed and I could see the messages scrolling down the screen saying replacing security ID with a particular what I believed to be register address. It did this overnight as there was no response to ctrl alt del and when it stopped there was nothing -- I powered it off and I initially got a message saying there is no operating system. I contacted the company the next day and spoke to the technician -- my computer would only load in safe mode and the only thing I could get it to do was try to restore to a previous day. After 2-3 attempts I was able to get the restore to work after about 12 hours. The next work day I contacted the company and let them know it was restored and they began working on it -- this is when I first got the message that my copy of windows was not genuine. The company supposedly worked on it daily with no success until I became frustrated with them on 6/26/15 -- 15 days after my first contact with them. I have been able to download then install all of the drivers for my computer as I thought it may be a driver issue but that did no good. I am stumped because I do not know exactly what they did to my computer as there was never a report provided to me from them and now I cannot do anything in normal mode. I know they ran Auslogics, Malwarebytes, CCleaner, Super Antispyware, Driver Toolkit Installer and setup, Hitman Pro, KMS Auto Easy and Revo Uninstaller because they left all of the trial copies on the computer. They just basically ran these tools over and over again without trying anything differently. I am in safe mode now trying to resolve this problem. HELP!!!!!!!

I looked at the diagnostic report and wanted to inform you that the product code in the report is not the product code on the COA sticker on my pc. I do not know if that is because the company attempting to repair my computer ran the KMS that I see in my shortcuts to fix the Windows not genuine issue but it was not installed by me. I do not remember it being on the computer when they initially said it had been fixed either so I believe it was done recently in an attempt to fix the not genuine problem. I recall there was a discussion with one of the numerous persons attempting to correct this problem and he was just trying to remove the message whether it actually was a permanent fix or not. I did not think about the KMS install on my computer until I saw the discrepancy between the product keys in the diagnostic report.

You must be patient as we have a limited number of volunteers that can decode the report. With the holiday weekend coming up, it could get lonely here. :)

I've posted a help request for this thread and reported the other as a duplicate.

Ok. Thank you Carwiz for the response and I understand about limited resources. If you read the thread you know I have been very patient as the company that wasted more than 2 weeks with this would attest if asked. I just wanted to make sure I had properly submitted the thread since my own frustration with trying to figure out what could have caused this is increasing daily.

This is a big red flag, no reputable company would use such a tool.

That info may be useful as well, can you post the zip file that this creates.

    Additional information is required.

    1. Download this file to your desktop or other convenient location,

    Download

    2. Double click on the file to run it.

    3. Locate the .ZIP file created on your desktop, and upload it here in your next reply.

Thanks. Looks like running all those cleaning tools removed everything, no dump files, no error reports, no events in event viewer.

That was a dead end on that info, hold off running any cleaners while you're getting help, that info could prove useful.

Very strange log. Lots of things missing plus strange results.

I do believe it could of been run in Safe Mode which will not show the things needed.

The installation media could be corrupt.

I agree Derek KMS Auto Easy is scary.

Other than a Clean Install and proper activation I no of know way to fix this system. That is what I would do if it was my computer.

That is normal if you've never reinstalled your OS, that is the factory key in the report that is used on mass installs.

The one on the COA is specific to your computer and is there in case you need to reinstall.

The one in the report cannot be used for re-installation.
