Windows 7: Windows Build 7601 no longer genuine?

Windows Build 7601 no longer genuine?

Been seeing a lot of posts around like this so I guess I'm not alone, which is somewhat reassuring. I first began getting the Windows Activation Technologies popup a couple days ago, and I thought it'd resolve itself by now. I'm pretty sure my product key for Windows 7 professional x64 is genuine? but to that, I got it from my college so I suppose its possible that it could be a messed up key. If thats the case, I dunno why it started giving me problems now all of a sudden instead of a few years back when I recieved it.

Welcome to the forum amigops.

Your not being ignored.

Your log is one I don't have the knowledge to be able to help. I have spent about 30 min. researching and I'm not sure of the answer to your problem.

Noel is one of our experts will be by, but as usual he is very busy.
Don't give up.

There are no obvious problems in your report - the machine shows as activated and validated.

It's likely that your problems are caused by a race condition, and these usually go away after a couple of days.
Persistent such problems may be isolated if we have a look at the Event logs (if we're lucky!)

Open Event Viewer

click on the Windows logs entry in the left pane to expand it.

Now click on the Application entry - wait while it loads.

Click on 'File'in the menu bar and select Save...

Save the file as Appevt.evtx

Repeat for the System log

then zip both, and upload them.
