I tried all three kb codes and received the Windows Standalone Installer error message: "The update is not installed on this computer"

Odd - please run another CheckSUR scan and post the new CheckSUR.log and CheckSUR.Persist.log files.

The errors are still there - unsurprisingly.

I need to think about this. I'll reply again when I've thought of a new approach, but shout if you haven't heard before the weekend!

I've been working 12-hour days this week - as well as trying to catch up/keep up with the forum

I haven't forgotten you, or your patience!

Back when I can find time (and energy - I'm also fighting a cold!)

    Ooops!

Let's have a look in the registry...
I need to have a look at your COMPONENTS registry hive

Please copy the C:\Windows\System32\config\COMPONENTS file (no extension) to your desktop and then compress it - upload the compressed file to your favoured fileshare site (preferably Dropbox or OneDrive) and post a link.
