SURT is finished, the logs are attached.

FYI: There is a new file "CbsPersist_20150712211708.cab" in "C:\Windows\Logs\CBS".

OK - I'll work on reducing the number of Package errors next. (Hopefully tonight)

    Back later.

Sorry about that - real life got in the way
I need to have a look at your COMPONENTS registry hive

Please copy the C:\Windows\System32\config\COMPONENTS file (no extension) to your desktop and then compress it - upload the compressed file to your favoured fileshare site (preferably Dropbox or OneDrive) and post a link.

    Oh, that damn real life

I could not copy it from a live-system, since the file was in use. So I booted to Ubuntu (Live-USB) and created the copy there:

Thank you very much for your help so far!

Next time just reboot to Safe Mode, where that registry hive isn't loaded - then it'll copy fine

I got chicken on this - so I've called for assistance from someone better-versed in Watchlist errors than me (I don't get enough practice to be confident, with this number of problems!)

    Hi Epaminaidos,

Noel asked me to take a look at this for you, so here I am :) I need a little more information before we can continue though:

    Export registry as hive

    1. Click on the Start button and in the search box, type regedit
    2. When you see regedit on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
    3. When regedit opens, using the left pane, navigate to the following registry key and select it by clicking on it once.

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Component Based Servicing

    4. Once selected, click File > Export....
    5. Change the Save as type: to Registry Hive Files (*.*)
    6. Name this file CBS (with no file extension) and save it to your Desktop.

Zip up this file and attach it to your next post please.

Please excuse me for not answering any sooner. I was on a two-week-vacation and returned on sunday. Even though I do really appreciate the help here, cancelling it seemed a bit too much

I did the steps you asked for. Please find the file attached.
