Windows 7: Windows 10 Update.

Doubt it will do any good to hide the update,
These updates have been re-released a couple times already
And through the free year to upgrade I'm sure it will reappear again and again
Just leave it in the update system and simply do not download and install it if you don't want it.
kb...2664 is another one that has repeated.

Windows 7 64 bit

Thanks ThrashZone. I now have another problem. I have set the Windows Update to ask me before updating and I have a list of updates ready to install except KB3035583 that has again installed without my agreement. Why is this? I do not want Win 10 yet and I am not up to playing around with the registry. Any help please.

Updates do not install themselves unless you install them, you will not get Windows 10 unless you reserve it, don`t worry about it, it will not upgrade itself.

Set windows update to this setting and updates will never install themself. If you uninstall 5583 and hide it, it will never get installed.

If you`re interested in a list of updates not to install, PM me and I`ll send you the list :)

Thank you AddRam. I had Update set to Download updates but let me choose when to install them. Even so KB3035583 re-installed but left others uninstalled. I have not reserved Win 10 so all should be well.
