Errors 8E5E03FB and 9C57 when attempting to install updates
Hi, first time posting here, so please tell me if I'm missing anything needed.
When looking up how to get my free upgrade to Windows 10, I found that the taskbar icon for registering was not there. I then found out that it was part of an update, so I went to Windows Update to install it. Upon trying to install them, I received 8E5E03FB and 9C57 errors for all of them. With Windows, I have always had the occasional issue of updates not installing, but the issues would always seem to get themselves fixed at some point. Several of these updates have been failing to install for at least several weeks at this point though, making me suspect its something more. I have a few suspicions as to what the reason may be:
1. A few weeks ago, I purchased my current SSD, and used Samsung Magician to clone the OS over. (I did a thorough drive clean prior to the cloning)
2. Although I'm 99% sure I didn't do this, its possible that while cleaning the drive prior to the clone, I accidentally deleted something I shouldn't have.
3. I used CCleaner a lot, and it possibly removed something it shouldn't have.
4. The KB2670838 update and Internet Explorer were uninstalled and hidden about 6 months ago when I found the update caused a game I owned to be unplayable. (Game in question is Lost Planet Colonies Edition)
Now for the list of failed updates and their respective errors:
