Windows not genuine - US windows version

    Hi!
I've got windows is not genuine problem build 7601. I bought this laptop in USA, it had US language configurations etc. After I set some settings (mainly language) for UK (I know, I shouldn't have done it) "windows is not genuine" had started to appear. I was able to get rid of this problem with just by typing "SLMGR -REARM" in cmd console but now it still appears, even when I do it. It's quite annoying that I've got original copy of windows and this message keeps appearing, and now, I can't even do anything with it. If you have solution to solve this problem once and for all (legal solution, I want to get updates because I have original copy of windows!) I would much appreciate it. I think something happened when I changed some of the language settings (these message hadn't appeared for years). I've changed language settings back to US but it doesn't help.

I can't give you specifics, my relative who lives in USA, bought it there and gave me this laptop when he visited me in Europe. Does it matter in which state this computer has been bought?

You appear to have some file problem - you have a combination of errors showing in the report.

The WAT update has at some time been installed - but it appears to have been ripped out at the roots, rather than uninstalled.
There is also an apparent missing slui.exe file.
Please run a full CHKDSK and SFC scan....
Click on Start > All Programs > Accessories
Right-click on the Command Prompt entry
Select Run as Administrator and accept the UAC prompt - the Elevated Command Prompt window should pop up.
    At the Command prompt, type
    CHKDSK C: /R
    and hit the Enter key.
You will be told that the drive is locked, and the CHKDSK will run at the next boot - hit the Y key, and then reboot.
The CHKDSK will take a few hours depending on the size of the drive, so be patient!
After the CHKDSK has run, Windows should boot normally (possibly after a second auto-reboot) - then run the SFC.

SFC -System File Checker - Instructions
Click on Start > All Programs > Accessories
Right-click on the Command Prompt entry
Select Run as Administrator and accept the UAC prompt - the Elevated Command Prompt window should pop up.
    At the Command prompt, type
    SFC /SCANNOW
    and hit the Enter key
Wait for the scan to finish - make a note of any error messages - and then reboot.

Upload the CBS.log file (compressed, please!) to your reply - also post a new MGADiag report.

    Hi!

Thank you so much for reply! Unfortunately, it didn't work, after I did what you asked me to do (CHKDSK command) there was an error at the beginning of reboot. I tried many internet solutions on my own and grew tired of this. I reinstalled windows from the beginning and problem is solved..

Thank you very much anyway! Cheers!
