Mouse/keyboard dont run after I rolled back from win 10 to win 7

    Hi
I had windows 10 and I rolled back to win 7
So mouse and keyboard stopped working
They works fine on bois and Hirens boot CD
But they stopped working when windows login page pop up,
So I cannot put ky password to login.
I unplugged mouse and keyboard and I used different usb ports for both of them but still not working.
Im usign Gigabyte Motherboard and BT USB mouse and keyboard.
    Anyhelp please ?
Note: I cant do system restore or windows repair, also I dont want to format or lose my data.
I dont mind to re install windows but I would like to keep installed programs and my data safe.
    Thanks

    Hi welcome to the forum

Try a ps/2 keyboard and mouse or a regular corded usb mouse and keyboard.
you won't be able to reinstall the os without reinstalling the program and your data will be lost. you could try using a live cd like ubuntu to get your data off the somputer in case you have to re install the os.

Hi, thx for the fast reply
So the only way is to try PS2 ?
I think it is drivers problem so is there any way to update drivers using Dos or CMD etc. ?
Or maybe there is something I can try before I re install new OS ?
Because mouse and keyboardworking fine om bois and on hirens boot win xp CD
    Thanks again

from what you wrote in first post i had thought you were using a blu-tooth keyboard and mouse if so try a regular usb keyboard and mouse.

ok try a cmos reset and see if that helps you. also go to bios and load defualts. write down how the bios is now so you can put things back if it changes things.

power down the computer open case and remove the coin size battery for like 5 minutes then put battery back in and try again. another thing you could try is going to F8 and Disable Driver Signature Enforcement

I tried both before and nothing changed , but I took out the battery for 1 min not 5 mins, so do I have to try to keep it for 5 mins ?

    Even I tried chkdsk /f /r
    And I tried scannow/ etc.
Nothing changed ))) strange if I knew that I will face this problem if I will roll back to win7, than it was better to keep win 10
