    Postscript:
I've cleared the C:\windows.... Packages directory of all files and copied Just the kkhab files back into the c:\windows...Packages directory. I'm currently rerunning the CheckSUR tool. I'll update status here after the tool completes this run with just the kkhab files.

Odd - the earlier run had the 'language-neutral' file as being broken, while these last two have the 'en-US' file broken.
This type of running error is sometimes caused by hardware problems - with RAM or the HD usually.

Let's try and fix the new problem anyhow - see what we get...
    Code:
    Summary:
    Seconds executed: 1260
     Found 1 errors
CBS MUM Corrupt Total count: 1

    Unavailable repair files:
    	servicing\packages\WUClient-SelfUpdate-Core-UIComp~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-US~7.6.7600.256.mum
    	servicing\packages\WUClient-SelfUpdate-Core-UIComp~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-US~7.6.7600.256.cat
    I'll post the fix later

Ignore that - lack of caffeine!

Duh - I posted the language-neutral files rather than the en-US files - sorry!

back later with the proper ones.

OK - I covered the bases this time
    I've uploaded a file - kkhac.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
    Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder kkhac in the same place.
Open this folder - there should be one folder inside it (Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to the folder
    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.
