Windows Update cannot currently check for updates, service not running

    I am currently running Windows Update, or at least it's trying to run... I'll post again if it fails or finishes.

    Fixed!


    I noticed the Intel Driver tool was different than the one I had tried before posting to this forum for help. It installed without trouble and I was able to run Windows Update. The removal step I had previously tried did wipe the memory as it said I had never installed an update. Thank you for your help and I hope someone in the future finds this thread helpful, too!

Okay soo, since i got my computer i try to windows update i get this error, windows update cannot currently check for updates cause the service isnt running try to reboot, ive done that and it didnt work and sometimes when i got into the update thing it freezes and not resopds...quite over all...
