Windows 7 rollback from 10, 7 is 'not genuine'

I decided to roll back to 7 Ultimate after 10 seemed to cause issues with Nvidia and Guild Wars 2. But when I did so, I was told my copy of 7 Ultimate was not genuine, and I no longer have the key (moving cross country, I lost a lot of things). Any idea how to go about a fix? I can't even go back to 10 now because my copy of 7 is 'not authentic.' I'm waiting on a rep to help me, but the wait time is ungodly.

I asked for your system specs for a reason.
    I'm trying to verify something.
It appears that you are using a Retail Motherboard.
    Is that correct???

Use this tutorial to help fill in your system specs.

Yes. Though hopefully this Microsoft tech can figure out what's going on. I finally got connected. Why would the motherboard cause an issue with the rollback?

I'd go ahead and post it all up but I don't know it all off the top of my head, and they're remote hosting in at present to see what's going on.

If you would just give me the information I requested it would be helpful.

    Yes a motherboard matters.
