    windows update issue

I recently reinstalled windows 7 home premium, after uninstalling Linux mint Cinnamon. I now have to
catch up on all the updates, as I had allowed Linux disk to erase windows. I have managed to do 24 updates, but there is another 200 to do. The problem I am now having when I try to do a few at a time
the downloading sticks at 0%. I wondered if it is my Telstra 4g internet connection. Lately it is flicking
between low signal strength and average, within a few seconds. I don't know if I am right. I was thinking
that there cannot be anything wrong with windows updates because it managed to do 24 updates.

I just did a clean install just a couple of days ago and I know what you are talking about.

Many are complaining about the same problem because they are not seeing the download % moving.
That is normal in most cases.
It's probable downloading and you just have to wait.
If your like me a home user with only me online, I just watch the blinking light on the router. The percent isn't moving on the screen but the router is blinking crazy I know I'm getting the download.

I took me over 5 hours to download and install 200 plus updates with DSL 3.0 gigbits.
I never do anything on the computer when I doing Windows Updates.

I would also recommend using a wire connection, no wifi.

To layback bear, I managed to get all 200 windows updates downloaded and installed within about 4 hours.
It would not do it a couple at a time, so I just clicked install all, and it only sat on 0% downloading for about 10 minutes, and then it just took off. Thank you from a happy lady.
