    KB976932 failure(s)


    Recently did a SystemRestore-OK
    Aside from a few Win7 Security Updates..not receiving subsequent Update List (the "BigOne")
    until (I'm guessing) this SP1 succeeds. Tried with/wo AV I'm willing to finally try the .exe Download...but 903MB ? Wow (2X the size of Updates-Route..right?)

    p.s. The "How To-System Specs" sends a prompt/requirement of 4.0 net-Framework to work.
    But, my computer will not accept 4.0 (KB982670) ...until I first install KB 976932.

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
    Not sure I follow you have you or have you not loaded all important updates before sp1's attempt ?

    I would reset windows updates and load them all then try sp1 which will appear eventually when the system is as up to date as possible
    Pre-sp1 I would use windows update default settings,
