Question about update KB3075249

Not sure where to post this. According to an article it does this

adds telemetry points to the User Account Control (UAC) feature to collect information on elevations that come from low integrity levels"
Another article says it records which programs request UAC elevation and sends that info to Microsoft.

My question what happens if you have have UAC disabled via the registry tweak? Is anything sent? Just curious that is all.

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 7601 Multiprocessor Free Service Pack 1

For me it's an optional update and I did not install it.

See advice here:

Windows 7, 8, and 10: Now all collecting user data for Microsoft | InfoWorld

The data is sent to two hard-coded addresses: and Hard-coding the server names means users canít block access with a hosts file.
That's why I used the "Static Routes" method to route packets (destined for Redmond and a few other MS servers) to a non existent ip address. However I still don't know if this method actually works.

Note: On my machine UAC is disabled but it has been replaced with an alternative. Also I run some programs with limited users rights even though my account has admin rights.

See this thread: Test browser for Logjam, Freak, Poodle vulnerabilities and also check the posts by Tookeri and Alejandro85.

Note: Standard advice is to enable UAC with maximum settings and do not use an account with admin rights for day to day computer use. This approach doesn't suit me but without additional protection you are asking for trouble.
