How do I get rid of the W 10 update schedule

In Windows Update, I have a recurring notice stating "Your upgrade to W 10 is ready". This arose because I agreed to schedule the upgrade from W 7 to W 10. I have since changed my mind and no longer wish to upgrade and assume I am quite entitled to do so but can see no option to allow me to do so.

I have already deleted the three updates KB3035583, KB2952664 and KB 3021917 and am wondering if there are any more hidden updates I can delete that will help get rid of the W 10 schedule notice. Any suggestions please?

Thanks for replying NoelDP. I uninstalled them, as this appeared to be the only option available once MS had downloaded and Installed the updates. I had no option to "hide" them as mentioned.

I uninstalled KB 2952664 and KB 3021917, as well as KB 3035583 on the advice of a "Geeks" website who said they were all to do with the W10 upgrade, so I included the other two just in case.

Also, as a matter of interest, shortly after being presented with the W10 Upgrade Schedule as mentioned in my initial post, I changed my Windows Update settings to:- "Allow me to check for updates but let me choose whether download and install them". The trouble now is that Windows will not let me check for updates until I have completed the "updates" which presumably means those shown in Update History as "Update to W10 - failed" I assume this means that I will not be able to control what updates I receive until I allow the upgrade to take place. If this is the case, I consider it pretty disgusting of Microsoft but I await some confirmation of this before I jump to conclusions.

That's the problem NoelDP. I've uninstalled the updates and as I mentioned above and I have changed the update setting to allow me to check each update and decide if I want to instal it. The trouble is Windows now won't let me check for updates until I click "Restart" in the W10 schedule display which is in fact the signal to install W10. I don't want to change the settings back to Auto download etc because I want to stop MS downloading any more W10 KB's. If what I am saying is correct then Microsoft should be ashamed of themselves. In the meantime, I am hoping that someone soon will come up with a solution to all this or at least take MS to task over it.

After I realised that KB3035583 and others had been downloaded and installed, I changed W/Update settings to allow me to check them first etc per your illustration but looking through all the links and info you kindly passed on to me, it appears they all refer to cancelling the W10 upgrade at the Reservation stage.

My problem is that I agreed to schedule the upgrade a little while ago but it has now appeared I now want to cancel it but I am unable to do so. Not only that but I am now unable to "Check for updates" until I allow the installation to take place which I don't think much of and that's putting it mildly! By this I mean that when I click "Check for updates", a note appears telling me that I am unable to access updates until I click the "restart" box in W/Update which virtually starts the upgrade and I think that is very wrong of Microsoft.

I know it is my fault for agreeing to schedule the upgrade in the first place but I thought I would be able to change my mind and cancel at any stage, in common with most OS installations.

So, I am back where I started and hope someone will tell me how I can cancel or stop the upgrade schedule from appearing in Windows Update and allow me to "check for Updates"
