    You seem to have uploaded a zipped shortcut - please just upload the original file

    You uploaded the same file you downloaded, rather than the results of its scan - please try again.

    Don't worry about it - we all have to go through a learning process. :)

    Unfortunately, neither of the uploads seem to have completed properly? - the error message I get attempting to access them doesn't give me any clues why

    I do the " Blue Schreen of Death" thing and Command Prompt comes up and tells me they are collecting data,it might take some minutes, at the same moment they ask me to press any key, so I do.

    Then with very high speed I see some writing flash by in 3 seconds, and then I am asked to press any key again.

    Then nothing happens any more so I close the command prompt schreen and look at my desktop. There I can see the log file, can open it, its the right one. So I send it to zip files and it reapears on my desktop.

    But when I press the Attachments icon in this massage it does not want topick it up.

    Once more;

    The attachment seems to have worked this time - but there's very little data in it
    Most of the files are empty for some reason, and quite a few are missing.

    Let's try this - I still get the feeling that we need to ensure that KB3004394 is not installed...

    Open an Elevated Command Prompt, and run the following command...

    wusa /uninstall /kb:3004394

    (note the spaces before the backslashes)

    What happens?

    reboot and try Windows Update again.

    Ok Noel, I did the elevated Command Prompt as you told me. It went fine and I was told, that there is no Stand Alone installer KB 3004394 on my computer.

    What I found wierd is that the sentence that you continue to need to fill in the Comment Prompt white on black page has changed to;

    C:\Users\thelma.THELMA-pc>

    I think it should be :

    Windows 32 > ....... ?????????????????

    The only updates left to install are optional.

    2 Security Essentials free virus and 9 windows 7.

    Conna try now to see if they will upload,
