    Windows Update fails : 80073712 code error


    Hi Forum,
    I tried to install last updates but failed... The code error is 80073712.
    I ran different protocols and you'll find the following files with this link : Microsoft services
    • CheckSur.log
    • WindowsUpdate.log
    • CBS.log
    • Components

    You'll find below, the failed udpates list

    Wow - that was a major trek, finding the French files!

    OK - here's the first fix attempt...
    I've uploaded a file - tmeba.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
    Please download and save it.
    Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
    Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder tmeba in the same place.
    Open this folder - there should be one folder inside it (Packages)

    Copy the content of the Packages folder to the folder
    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages


    Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

    Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

    OK - This is going to be one of those times when I and going to ignore MS and do what I think I need to do - and hope it works
