    Windows update kb2545698 installation failure

    Hey All,

When I install the update for kb2545698 it fails with error 800B0100. I have tried to follow the procedure for "Window Update Posting Instructions", but I'm having an issue doing so. The issue is when following the instructions for uploading the zip of the logs files. The size of each of my 5 .cab files (which I believe are already compressed) is larger than the 8M limit for the zip of all the files. My largest .cab is ~33M by itself.

    Thanks In Advance,

just remove the older cab files for the moment - we can always come back for them.

Sorry, but each file is over the 8M limit. I can upload the latest one to Google Drive and share it

According to MSE, that file contains Trojan:Win32/Spursint.A

Please download and install Malwarebytes Anti-malware (free version) from Malwarebytes | Free Anti-Malware Detection & Removal Software - UNtick 'Enable free trial of MBAM Premium' at the end of the installation - and update it, then run a full scan in your main account, and Quick scans in any other user accounts.

    Quarantine everything it finds

I followed your instructions, but all Malwarebytes found was a toolbar.
