No updates found at all after 8 hours of checking/log

Hello , I decided after trying Win 10 for a while that I like Win 7 much better , after numerous re installs I can't get any updates to show (well, the vast majority that I need) .

There are no error codes and SFC/SCANNOW and CHKDSK come back with no integrity violations.

It just keeps checking and checking and this is after troubleshooters by Microsoft , I have tried everything I can think of .

Thank you for your help, it's greatly appreciated.

Some people have had to wait up to 20 hours for the first check for updates to complete after a reinstall or an upgrade to the Update Agent - be patient.

There are no significant errors in your CBS data either

Believe me the other day after setting my computer back to factory defaults it took almost an hour to check for updates and I was getting antsy because I wanted to install updates before doing anything else and get them out of the way

Good job jonny. Being patient paid off.

The slowness in Windows 7 Updates started when Microsoft started handing out free Windows 10.
I'm think they will stay slow until the fiasco is over with free Windows 10 and the people trying to get back to Windows 7.

Thanks LB , I don't see that fiasco dying anytime soon either , at least for the time they offer it for free .
