Hi i am having problems as the title suggests with windows updates.

When i turn automatic updates off totally my cpu usage comes down to a normal level however as soon as i turn them back on the cpu reaches 100% once again.

When i done a check i received the following error code 0x80070005 please also see attached screen shot.

Any help would be much appreciated

    Thank You

    Hi,
Post the task manager screen shots of the processes running.
Make sure Show processes for all users is checked on the bottom left.

RE: High memory usage by WU. Check what's using the most RAM using RAMmap.

Sort by File Summary > Active

I suspect that you might see a problem with datastore.edb

You might see it using a ton of RAM and remaining locked and in use. For comparison here's a screenshot showing what is currently using the most RAM on my machine. It's my browser!

Also I agree with LaybackBear regarding posting the requested information in the Windows Updates thread.
