"This Copy of Windows is Not Genuine" :o Whaaaaat???

My Win 7 Dell XPS has been in and out of the hospital for 3 months. First due to a failed hdd and then a bad video card slot on the mobo (which required a new Dell mobo). Just got it back tonight. All seemed well and the system booted to Windows with my previously applied desktop wallpaper. I just went to the desktop and it's black with a note in the bottom right corner that says...
    Windows 7
    Build 7601
This copy of windows is not genuine.

First computer shop put a new copy of Windows on a new hdd and I never got this message for 3 months.
The shop where I just picked it up, replaced the mobo. Now I'm getting the message the copy of windows is not genuine. Is MS sending out the Windows Police? Will my system go up in a puff of smoke? What do I do?

Hummm, install an exe to activate Windows? Thanks but it's taken care of. Shortly after I posted here, I found an open dialog window telling me that new hardware installed required me to reactive Windows. It gave a toll free phone number and the option to have a text message sent to my phone and step by step instructions. All is well but thanks anyway.

No, actually that is a link to post some logs from a tool that helps diagnose activation problems.

Glad you got it sorted anyway. :)
