    W7 - creating integrated installation disc


    Anyone tried this method? The website is here:

    Seems like it could be a good idea, especially now that MS won't (apparently) be offering any more updates for W7.

    I have been doing it a long while. I made a batch file for the job, but the update lists are constructed slightly differently now, and I haven't yet altered my batch file accordingly.

    Alternatively, you can use any number of tools to integrate the .cab or .msu files into a mounted wim image.

    TEST -Update 7 installation media

    ...it seems to me that the Raymond method (using NTLite) is much simpler.

    Yes, that is what I said in my previous post.

    You can use ntlite, wintoolkit, or any dism gui.They do the same thing as the batch file I made.
