    MGADT Gives Validation Code: 0

Hi. A few months ago my system said I might be the victim of counterfeit software. The software is OEM on a Dell. Rebooting fixes the problem for about 24 hours then the warning pops backup. I have tried

    • reinstalling my Intel rapid storage drivers,
    • running sfc /scannow ( was errors but fixed it, issues after reboot.)
    • reinstalling dell OEM certs with slmgr.vbs -ilc C:\DELL.xrm-ms
    • reinstalling dell OEM key with slmgr.vbs -ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx
    • Bios looks like it has Key on it using SLIC toolkit Dump OK ! ( DELLCBX3_V2.1 )

I ran sfc /scannow again now it has unfixable errors

What should I look for in the log for diagnostics?

Tried to recreate the Licensing Store, that still did not help.
    Windows is not Genuine

I have tried using the https://www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate/ and it says its validated, It even gives me the option to upgrade to windows 10, but I still get a 0 on MGADT

Well I'm not sure what is causing the problem but I do have a question and a Microsoft site that might help you.

***Question. What Windows 7 did the computer come with?

I don't believe this will work. From post #1

    • reinstalling dell OEM key with slmgr.vbs -ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx
I think this site will help you with the COA key. Read completely.

hmm looking at the dell service tag, it looks like it says it came with the 32 bit version of 7 pro, but currently its 64..
I think that would cause an issue because those are not the same keys.

    slic table

Not exactly sure if thats the problem, shouldn't be UNLESS its a Dell quirk., when you moved to the 64bit version its likely that your install medium was not a Dell disk and may have caused it to hiccup.
    Try the following

However back to your >> second << Mxdiag, it shows a problem with your slic table.
NoelDP the EXPERT with these problems is ill at the moment.
But we have a solution from one of his earlier posts.
Follow the link below and use his solution to rebuild your table

I don't know what a Dell key will or will not do.

The same Microsoft Windows 7 key will activate 32 or 64 version.
If one switches from 32 to 64 or visa versa a clean installed is needed and the Microsoft sticker COA will need to be used.

Their should be a Microsoft COA sticker on the computer that looks something like this.

    MGADT Gives Validation Code: 0-coa-certificate-authenticity.gif

A clean install of Windows 7 that matches that Microsoft sticker COA key should take care of the problem.

Just an update, Flashing the latest BIOS seems to have fixed the issue. 3 days without the warning.

Thank you all again for your help :)

    Could you post another log.

I'm not understanding how a bios update solved your problem. Maybe the new log will help me learn something.
