It can't hurt to try this,
Product Key Number - Change
Just use the product key on your DVD case.

You are correct Derek. I had a brain fart and didn't think of it.
But it would not explain how a OEM/SLP got installed.
It also leaves me to wonder because of the OEM/SLP, is the rest of Windows 7 install proper and correct and not defective in some way.
I hope that the code on the other side of the CD is NOT
2WCJK-R8B4Y-CWRF2-TRJKB-PV9HW.
If it is then its definately counterfiet,
Your screenshot shows the disclaimer for a >>System Builder OEM <<
and the key above is for factory built models, (Asus in this case).
Take it back to the retailer demand a refund and tell them your gonna notify MS and your local trading standards that he's selling pirated versions.
If you inform ms YOU MIGHT get lucky, no guarentee.

@Layback Bear:
Thanks for the videos. I didn't know counterfeits could look that good. You should see the counterfeits here in my country - burned on DVD-R, printed front cover on "draft" ink quality, and placed in a plastic sleeve.
Your welcome Kathy.
Yes, counterfeiters are very good at what they do.
Many honest people get caught in the trap.
We had a computer store in the place I live using counterfeit and was caught and prosecuted.
The dumb ass installed them on government computers also. That is how he got caught.
Hi Kathy,
i believe that product marker belongs to a system builder OEM Canada only.
