    Windows Update unusually slow?

I am doing updates on a third PC and in each case the time it takes to download even just 3 at a time is unusually, painfully slow (10-20 min).
    Installation goes about normal.

Also, the progress report (0KB, 0% Complete) does not change in many cases. But the download eventually finishes. But it just goes from 0% to "Installing Updates" without warning.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

I've tried doing it in off-hours in case the servers are busy - no difference.

Yep. took about an hour from the time I manually initiated "check for updates" (11 updates) to asking me to restart. No problems after that.

Yes, I found the download of the updates took a lot longer than usual as well. The MS servers are either getting very slow or they are being overloaded by Windows 10 downloads.

Maybe they are taking Windows 7 servers offline to use them for 10.

Maybe driving Windows 7 users crazy so they will move to 10!

I got 10 updates. Update check was slow so I waited a couple of hours before running another check and there was then no delay.

I got these updates. Needed two reboots to complete.

Here's a list of files that were downloaded/ installed.

On the second reboot I got a Realtek Audio warning. Couldn't figure out why but the only changes to my system today were installing windows updates.

Deleting the registry entry and reinstalling the driver fixed the problem.
